The PORTA(L) is an instrument revealing secrets of it's location.

Doubling the building's famous porticus-entrance the students partly desacrelized it while at the same time elavated the meadow on which there peers like to hang out during sunny spring days. Changing the centre of gravity to this public space remains true to the institute's values promoting the peer-to-peer learning to be equally important as the academic education.
The act of building became a performance art-like event consonant with the construction of the new campus.
The project was designed and realized by a group of multidisciplinary students during an intensive course week at the
Campus of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest.
