The project is about illuminating an estate and its surroundings. In 2017 for the first time we chose Tihany at Lake Balaton. The local farmers’ market (PIAC Placc) provided the location to be illuminated in order to make spaces which connect people and nature.
The word ’Läge’ means space. It is a String-art installation that embraces and adopts to its surroundings. It creates geometric structures in organic spaces. During the day it offers shade to the rest areas underneath, while after sunset it serves as a projection surface and a light installation.
Using a light, it interprets a particular location in a new way. It creates clean, geometric shapes, which make it usable and liveable with the help of light. The shore of the Lake Balaton is lined with huge trees that allowed an opportunity not only for horizontal but also vertical expansion. It emphasizes the natural features of the site-inspired materials which are placed via an environment-friendly alpine technology.
A projekt a nevéből adódóan a fényről és körülötte lévő térről szól. A 2017-es Light Inn workshop helyszíne a tihanyi PIAC Placc. A cél olyan terek és tárgyak létrehozása volt, ami kapcsolatot teremt az emberek és természet között.
A ’Läge’ szó jelentése “hely”. Egy olyan String-art installáció, ami alkalmazkodik a környezetéhez, körbe ölelve és behálózva a teret. A Läge organikus terekben geometrikus helyszíneket épít. Nappal árnyékot ad, ami alatt meg lehet pihenni, naplemente után pedig projekciós felületként és fény installációként funkcionál.
A fény segítségével újfajta módon mutat be egy adott helyszínt. Letisztult, geometriai formákból tereket épít, amiket a fény eszközével tesz használhatóvá és élhetővé. A Balaton part a hatalmas fákkal nemcsak horizontális, de vertikális kiterjedésre is lehetőséget adott. A természeti adottságokat hangsúlyozza, a hely-inspirálta anyagokból környezetet kímélő alpin technikával kerül elhelyezésre.
